You can always tell when a slashfic author isn’t queer themselves or hasn’t ever actually had a close queer friend. The discrimination their characters face for being gay is an awkward caricature of what really happens and is just uncomfortable to read for someone who’s actually had to deal with a world that hates them.

Half the reason I love TW
is because I love the TW fandom. It’s so new and everyone is so fucking enthusiastic and crazy and wonderful.
